PASMA Mobile Access Tower Training

Health & Safety legislation requires that the erection, dismantle, and alteration of mobile access towers should be carried out by a competent person.

Astra offer PASMA mobile access tower training, this is the most widely recognised tower training course in the UK, and on successful completion each delegate will be competent as required, with a PASMA card and certificate as proof of attendance.

PASMA User Training Course Content:

The PASMA standard training course is aimed for any person that is required to use Mobile Access Towers.

The course will provide trainees with the necessary instruction to safely assemble, use, inspect and dismantle aluminium or fibreglass mobile access towers.

Topics covered in the training include, identification and inspection of components, assembly methods, stability, towards hazards, the safe use and inspection criteria.

All delegates are required to assemble and dismantle a tower, carry out an inspection and sit a test paper:

At the Access Training Academy we hold 5 different makes of mobile access tower including a GRP (fibreglass) tower and AGRs (advanced guardrails) are used on every course, we also have podium steps, hop-ups and low-level towers for inclusion in the low-level access training module.

Location

ASTRA employ a number of PASMA instructors, therefore allowing us to provide Nationwide on-site training on a date of your choice.

Alternatively, you can book your course to be held at our Access Training Academy.

Lunch and refreshments will be included at no-extra cost for all courses at our centre.

Availability and numbers

At ASTRA, we hold “Open Courses” and “customers own", so a booking can be made by the customer, to decide on a convenient date for their training course. For the individual delegates, we hold PASMA open courses on a regular basis at our Access Training Academy.
